We had an urgent project on over Christmas so we’ve been working hard through December. The Glass Machinery Company are suppliers of new and used machinery to the glass and stone processing industry. With their offline marketing campaign kicking off in early 2011, they needed a new website up and running by January. With the brief requiring something a little different, we developed a fully content managed website with bespoke web design and Flash Animation for the site's home page. The Flash Animation consists of a 3D modelled automation robot, animated to interact with some of the manufacture brands of which the Glass Machinery Company are distributors of.
The website applies two themes to distinguish the different parts of the company, pages for each are all managed within the content management system (CMS). We developed a fully scalable content management system that allows The Glass Machinery Company to maintain their own website without any programming knowledge. The CMS had to be fully scalable so that new pages and sub pages could be added to the website and its navigation. Content is uploaded to the site via an easy-to-use interface, which facilitates the uploading of text, image and video content.
Though faced with the short time scale to develop such a large site, along with the 3D Flash Animation, the website went live at the beginning of January. Why not have a look? Visit www.theglassmachinerycompany.co.uk.
